2020 has been quite a year for WWE, with an absence of fans and the releases of many great performers, but it's also some incredibly memorable moments. Despite how up and down the year has been, there has at least been consistent wrestling throughout. If we hadn't been able to enjoy sports entertainment, then the time would have been a whole lot tougher.

There is a lot that goes into making a professional wrestler. Essential factors like entrance music, move-sets and mic skills play a significant role in a superstars popularity, but an integral piece of the puzzle is how a wrestler dresses. A great ring attire can be the difference between an absolute star of the sport, and a wash-out.

With so many wrestlers in the company across four brands, SmackDown, Raw, NXT and NXT UK, there are plenty of performers to fill out the card, and as such there are a plethora of great ring attires that have frequented 2020.

Some of these incredible looks really compliment the characters they accompany, but there are also a few that need to go back to the drawing board.

20. Best - Pete Dunne

Pete Dunne's look is very in-keeping with contemporary sensibilities, whilst still sporting this classic wrestling legacy. This perfect clash of modern and old-school wrestling influences is incredibly appropriate for his in-ring style that combines classic grappling with modern heelish tactics.

He sports a classic singlet that has a motif on its side that portrays the head of a bear roaring. This image looks great as it adds some character to the relatively standard garb and matches the bruiserweight gimmick that Dunne is known for. It also presents this simple but exciting enough design that keeps the look classic and appealing.

Additionally, Dunne will typically walk to the ring with some form of fur jacket. This always looks cool and matches this rugged and animalistic look that Dunne works so well with.

One final note comes in the fact that Dunne's focus on colours like Burgundy and Crimson give off this homage to classic performers that have come before him, such as Daniel Bryan or William Regal.

It's simple but perfectly fits the role.
