8 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 15)
Kiera and Tasha are in the finals, the Karate Man debuts, and Kenny Omega WILL wrestle.
Last night marked the final proper Impact Wrestling show of 2020, as the December 22 and 29 editions will be special retrospective episodes looking back at 2020 in Impact Wrestling. By the sounds of things, there will be no new content released on those two weeks, aside from the end of year awards.
As a result, the company should end the year on a bang, right? Correct - that bang being the announcement that Kenny Omega will indeed wrestle for Impact Wrestling, with his debut confirmed for Hard To Kill alongside The Good Brothers to face Rich Swann and The Motor City Machine Guns. 'The Cleaner' is officially dubbing the match as a Bullet Club reunion.
This wasn't the only noteworthy moment from the episode, of course. Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz advanced to the finals of the Knockouts Tag Team Championships Tournament, Ethan Page officially debuted his Karate Man alter ego, Cody Deaner appeared to officially join forces with Eric Young and Joe Doering, and Sami Callihan challenged Eddie Edwards to one final bout between the pair - a bout which has since been confirmed for January 5.
It's been one hell of a year for Impact Wrestling as they really have proven they're Hard To Kill. Let's get to it...
