Logan Paul Was NOT Originally Set To Dominate Elimination Chamber 2026 (WWE News)
Bronson Reed was originally set for a big night at WWE Elimination Chamber.
With WWE's Logan Paul having amassed an impressive three eliminations in the men's Elimination Chamber match over the weekend, not just did the Maverick take the originally planned place of Bronson Reed in that Chamber match, but it sounds as if Reed was scheduled to have the exact same sort of dominant performance.
In that match, Logan first eliminated Je'Von Evans, then LA Knight, and then finally Trick Williams, before the returning Seth Rollins attacked Paul, leading to Cody Rhodes pinning the Prime man. By the time all was said and done with the match, it would be Randy Orton standing tall as the winner, putting Cody away with an RKO after interference from Drew McIntyre.
Posting on X, Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net says that Logan Paul's spots in that match were intended to be for Bronson Reed, noting how the match had been formatted several weeks ago. So, it sounds as if Auszilla would've had quite the big night at Elimination Chamber, and he also would've seemingly been the one who Seth Rollins attacked. Instead, WWE simply switched Paul in for Reed and stuck to the originally planned match, just with a different member of the Vision.
Of course, Bronson Reed unfortunately suffered a "distal biceps tear" on last week's Raw, with the powerhouse booked to win a triple threat against Jey Uso and El Grande Americano to punch his ticket to Elimination Chamber. That injury occurred when Bronson broke up a pinfall, and he's already undergone surgery on an injury that's expected to keep him on the sidelines for several months. Calling an audible, WWE made the decision to have Uso beat El Grande last week, then Main Event Jey was attacked off-screen on SmackDown, with Logan Paul defeating Jacob Fatu to take the last remaining Chamber spot.
