Having been absolutely killing it since departing WWE back in September, there's now news on Mustafa Ali's current contract status.

Per Fightful Select, the news on Ali is that he has not signed any contract anywhere as of this time. Instead, he's operating on a per-appearance basis right now.

The current TNA X Division Champion, Mustafa has impressed not only for TNA since his WWE exit, but has also wowed for New Japan Pro-Wrestling and taken his Campaign across the independent scene for the likes of House of Glory, RevPro, DEFY, PROGRESS, and GCW. The 38-year-old has been incredibly busy since his 90-day WWE non-compete expired, wrestling everywhere from Chicago to London, Philadelphia to Quebec, and New York to Paris.

This Fightful report also adds that, in addition to TNA and NJPW, certain other televised wrestling promotions have shown interest in working with Ali.

A ridiculously talented fella, Mustafa Ali was one of several wrestlers released by WWE on 21 September 2023. Spinning that release into a major positive, Ali has used this freedom to once again show why he's one of the very best in the game.
